Announcements are your direct broadcast channel to your dealer network. Whether you're launching a new product line, running a seasonal promotion, or sharing an important update.
Web
From your distributor dashboard, navigate to the Announcements section and click the Add Announcement button.
Enter an Announcement title, then write your description in the text field below. The description supports rich text editing, so you can format your content to make it clear and easy to read. The description has a limit of 800 characters.
After entering your description, you have two AI-powered options:
Generate text: Let AI write the announcement based on what you've entered.
Rewrite text: Let AI improve and polish what you've already written.
You can add visuals in two ways:
Upload images: Upload up to 5 images from your device. Supported formats are JPG, PNG, and GIF.
Generate an image with AI: The AI creates an image based on your description. If you don't like the result, click Generate New to try again. Once selected, the image is automatically added to the upload section.
If you have a product catalog, spec sheet, or any supporting document to share, you can attach a PDF directly to your announcement.
Decide who should see the announcement:
Public: Visible to all users on the Ondustry platform, not just your connected dealers.
Custom Connections: Visible only to dealers in specific locations you select from the dropdown. You can choose more than one location. Only dealers as signed to those locations will see the announcement.
If you want the announcement to go live at a specific time, enable the Schedule toggle. Date and time pickers will appear, select when you want it published and it will go live automatically.
If you're not ready to publish yet, click Save as Draft in the top left corner to come back to it later.
Click Preview to see exactly how your announcement will look to dealers. If more than one image was uploaded, they'll appear as an image grid.
Mobile
From the Home screen, tap the menu icon in the top left corner.
In the Settings menu, tap Announcements.
Tap the + icon in the top right corner to create a new announcement.
Tap the + icon in the upload area to add images.
Enter your announcement's name and write the description in the fields provided.
Under Audience, select who should see the announcement:
All Connections — visible to everyone in your network.
Custom Connections — visible only to the specific locations you choose.
Tap Save as Draft to finish later, or tap Preview to see how your announcement will look before publishing.
