Finding the right product shouldn't take hours. The AI Search feature on Ondustry lets you search across every connected distributor's catalog at once using text, voice, or even a photo. Here's how it works.
From the main navigation, tap the AI Assistant tab. This opens the search screen, where you can start looking for any product immediately.
Ways to Search
Text Search: Type the product name, material, color, size, or any keyword into the search field. The AI scans all connected distributor catalogs and returns the most relevant results instantly.
Voice Search: Tap the microphone icon and describe what you're looking for out loud.
Image Search: Upload the product photo directly. The AI will find matching or similar products across all available catalogs.
Working with Search Results
Once results appear, you have a few options:
Filter by distributor: Tap Show Filters to see which distributors' products are included in the results. You can then filter the list to show only products from specific distributors.
Add to a Customer Folder: Found something a client might love? Add it directly to their customer folder to curate a selection for them. Tap on the product -> Select Selection -> Save.
Add to a PO: Add the product straight to an existing purchase order or create a new one without leaving the search results.
Mobile
From the bottom navigation bar, tap the AI Search icon in the center.
In the search field at the bottom, describe what you're looking for. You can search in three ways:
Type your query as text.
Tap the camera icon to search using a photo of a product.
Tap the microphone icon to search using your voice.
From any product in the results, you can take action right away:
Tap the list icon to add the product directly to a selection.
Tap the cart icon to add the product to a purchase order. Either an existing one or a new PO.
